At Castle Grange Care Home, we are always striving to enhance the lives of our residents through innovation and care. We are delighted to announce the arrival of a state-of-the-art ActiviTouch interactive activity table, an incredible addition that promises to bring enrichment, engagement, and joy to our home.
This cutting-edge technology, funded by the remarkable fundraising efforts of Richard Hoggart, owner of St Mary’s Group, is specifically designed to support residents living with dementia. Featuring over 50 apps, the table offers a wide range of activities, including memory games, chair yoga, video calling, and even movie streaming.
Richard’s commitment to improving dementia care inspired him to take on the “Four Peaks in 10 Days” challenge, which included climbing Mont Blanc—the tallest peak in the Alps—and completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. His efforts raised vital funds, allowing us to bring this exciting innovation to Castle Grange.
Home Manager, Nicky Horbury, shared:
“We are so excited to introduce the ActiviTouch table into our daily activities. It will provide stimulating and personalised experiences for our residents, helping to promote well-being and social interaction. A huge thank you to Richard and St Mary’s Group for their generosity and dedication.”
The addition of the interactive activity table reflects Castle Grange’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest standard of care for our residents. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this new technology will bring to our home.
