We recently had a magical afternoon at Shipley Manor Care Home as our residents enjoyed a delightful visit from the Titus Salts School choir.

Our halls were filled with the beautiful sounds of an Abba medley, “Hit the Road Jack,” “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book, and many more favorites. The smiles, laughter, and shared stories between our residents and the young choir members made for an unforgettable experience.

Intergenerational care is more than just a trend; it’s a powerful way to connect generations, reducing loneliness, boosting mental and physical health, and creating cherished memories for all.

Thank you to the wonderful students of Titus Salts School for bringing so much joy and music into our home. Here’s to more days filled with intergenerational fun and music therapy!

Such visits remind us of the strong community bonds we cherish at Shipley Manor Care Home
