At St. Mary’s Chanterlands in Hull, we understand that moving into a care home can be a delicate process. With the support of our dedicated care team and the presence of loved ones, we ensure that new residents feel welcomed and comfortable in their new surroundings.

It’s especially heartwarming to witness the formation of new friendships, such as the bond between Maggie and June, who have become close friends despite living on different floors. These two lovely ladies are frequently seen enjoying various activities together with our Activities Coordinator, Gavin. Whether it’s getting matching nails done in our nail bar, arranging flowers, or catching up over a coffee in our café bar, Maggie and June share wonderful moments of joy and companionship.

Maggie, who is a former hairdresser and makeup artist, even gave June a beautiful makeover after both had their hair styled by our resident hairdresser, Naomi. These small but meaningful interactions contribute to the sense of family and community that we cultivate at St. Mary’s.

If you are looking for a warm and caring environment for your loved one, we invite you to visit St. Mary’s Chanterlands Care Home and see firsthand what makes us so special.
